Vaijayanti Mala is very auspicious rosary which is also revered as rosary/garland of victory. The Vaijanti refers to vanamali (forest flowers) as mentioned in Vishnu Sahastranama strotram’s 108th sloka  a flower which is offered to Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata.
Its auspiciousness can be estimated as it is believed and said that beads of Vaijayanti are tied as a garland by Lord Krishna for Radha Devi and by Lord Ram for Sita Mata. The original Vaijayanti plant appears like long grass and the seeds of the bijanti have a polished finish and have a natural hole in the center itself.
As the name suggest that it a rosary or mala of victory hence it is believed that anyone who wears wins against odds and in his/her endeavors. The Vaijanti seeds are white and greyish in color and are found in forests around land of Lord Krishna’s birth (Mathura, West Uttar Pradesh)
The Vaijayanti Mala can be used to appease Lord Krishna and Lord Vishnu and thus is said to be the best mala to recite their mantras and attain spiritual powers. It is been used in various purposes such homam, tantra and Satvik sadhnas. Every human can wear it however this rosary is well known among Vaishnava devotees and Lakshmi devotees.
